Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Registered in the effective running of services in line with Ofsted requirement and other relevant legislation.
  • To deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • To work with a wide range of external stakeholders to ensure joint working and care planning for the children, ensuring the child’s views are always considered and valued.
  • To have oversight of finances and budgets.
  • To ensure company policies are always followed.
  • Working with the team overseeing that holistic and child-centred care is delivered to all our children in line with their individual needs.
  • To induct and carry out supervisions for the team and ensure that best practice is promoted and challenged where necessary.
  • Provide support to the team, work and lead shifts, and role model good practice.
  • To manage and support successful transitions for children moving into and leaving the home.
  • To ensure that the quality of records, reports, plans and documentation meets and exceeds requirements. 
  • To play a key part in the home’s development strategy.

To be considered for this opportunity at 360 CRS, you should have:

  • Diploma in Children’s & Young People Residential Services or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Children and Young People in a residential care setting, most recently in a supervisory role.
  • Sound knowledge of Safeguarding and how to put this into practice within a residential childcare setting. 
  • An understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements and how these are practiced within a residential setting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively under pressure.
  • A calm and exploratory approach to working with children who have experience significant trauma.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Be confident with using IT and writing clear and defensible documentation.
